School hours are 8:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. 

At our micro school, we honor the whole child — mind, body, and heart. We gladly support time away for medical appointments or therapies, knowing that caring for their well-being helps them thrive in every part of life. 

A Day in Your Child's Learning Journey:

Gentle Beginnings:  Your child is welcomed into a calm, caring space where they can settle in, connect with friends, and get comfortable in the educational setting.  

Personal Learning Pathways:  One-on-one and small group instruction tailored to your child's learning plan.  Whether practicing communication skills, building literacy and math foundations or exploring new concepts, we meet them exactly where they are.

Lunch and Social Connection:  A relaxed mealtime with opportunities to practice social skills, independence and peer interaction in a supportive environment.  The staff eats lunch with the students to model manners, social interactions and communication.  After lunch time is given to relax and explore in either the indoor or outdoor setting. 

Hands-On Discovery:  Project based and experiential learning that lets them use all their senses to explore.  Activities are adapted to ensure access, engagement, and success for each and every learner. 

Reflection and Homeward Bound:  We end the day by recognizing achievements, big and small, and helping your child prepare for a smooth transition home.  Your child leaves feeling proud, supported, and excited for the next step in their journey. 

Please note that Destination Learning Center is working to receive official Indiana accreditation. Until we are fully accredited we are not yet able to accept state vouchers. This means tuition costs will remain in place during this period. Once accreditation is finalized, we will notify families immediately so voucher use can begin.

For the 2026-2027 school year tuition costs will continue at $5,508.00.  Payments of $612.00 are due on the 15th of the month (Sept-May).

Once we receive our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, we’ll launch fundraisers and seek corporate sponsorships to support our programs and keep tuition affordable. 

Destination Learning Center is a small, family-centered microschool designed to nurture every child on their life journey through a whole-child approach.  We blend academic learning with therapy support to help students thrive academically and emotionally.  Our sensory-friendly space creates a calm, welcoming environment, while a fleible, student-driven structure allows learning to adapt to each child's needs.  Our family-centered model ensures that both students and parents are supported-from classroom collaboration to shared learning goals-fostering a strong, connected community.  At Destination, we believe every child deserves a caring, challenging, and future-focused environment where they can grow, learn, and succeed.
